Welcome to the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Pulmonary & Critical Care fellowship website. We hope you will find the information on the site valuable. We provide our fellows with a unique and high quality training environment.  Our trainees and faculty have the opportunity to practice in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center in Jackson Memorial Hospital, in a state of art University  hospital (UMHC) and in one of the highest performing VA Hospitals.  In addition, the educational and research programs are supported by the Miller School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine.

As an academic program, we focus on providing a challenging and innovative learning experience for our trainees. Our fellows have the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, and they are exposed to an extraordinary array of pathology.

Our fellowship program is highly competitive and maintains full ACGME accreditation.  The fellows in the program all work with faculty mentors to participate in clinical and basic science research and many of them present their research findings at national meetings each year.

We are proud of our many graduates’ accomplishments both in academia and private practice.  Our trainees are very successful at competing for positions around the country and the world.  Please review the following pages of our website to familiarize yourself with the unique experience we offer our trainees.  We look forward to hearing from you.
